I have been in the finance industry for over 30 years with the last 22+ years in the home lending.
For more than 16 years I have been meeting with my clients during/after work hours at either their work place or home.
I am passionate about what I do as I take great satisfaction at helping my clients achieve their financial goals, which in turn helps them achieve their personal and lifestyle goals.
It is also sincerely gratifying that more than 90% of my business comes from my loyal clients and referrals from them of their family, friends and colleagues.
Our team consists of myself and my trusted and valued Lending Specialist, Vanessa Hickey, who has been with me since 2011.
Personally, I am 25 years married to an amazing and beautiful woman, and we have two awesome kids, the oldest completing her Master’s Degree and the youngest in his second year of university.
I’m a sports nut and an AFL tragic by heart, with my favourite Team being the great North Melbourne Kangaroos. As a ‘Queenslander’, I also follow the Brisbane Broncos and the almighty Maroons.
Golf is my passion and I truly enjoy the challenges it offers each and every time I tee it up.
Constant communication and easy to understand processes. A lot of the process was difficult to follow but Laurie was always available to provide a calm and simple explanation for whatever my difficulties were. He assisted well outside his scope and was an invaluable service in the purchase of my apartment.
